[UPDATED] What Are Your Memories of Bunny?

We just found out that Bunny passed away this morning and are truly heartbroken to have lost another good friend and wonderful person in our lives. We are working with a member of Bunny's family to see if there is something specific we can do to help as a class. Watch for more updates as we receive them.

In the meantime, we would also like to compile thoughts and stories of Bunny to give to the family, kind of like we did when we remembered other friends at last year's reunion.

[UPDATE]
Please email bunnymemories (at) gmail.com with your memories, stories, and pictures of Bunny! We will put all the thoughts together in a book and give it to her family.

So many memories of my friend Bunny:) Dancing in our giant red pants in 9th grade, toilet papering, many, many sleepovers at the Watsons, st. george spring breaks, cruisin the blvd:),our small car accident in the green jetta over spring break, talking about boys in highschool with her in her car many times, christmas parties every year at her house, her class and thoughtfulness she put into others, her big, beautiful, radiant smile, her generosity, her listening ear, her light, her beauty...that radiates inside and out and now will radiate down from heaven:) An angel to her gorgeous babies and husband. So unfair for her life to end so short of what it should...but I am so deeply touched to have known Bunny and called her my friend.

I have so many fun high school memories of Bunny. When I think of her I think of her radiant smile, positive attitude, and kindness. I have memories of Bunny and I running down the hall in our cheer uniforms giggling about boys and cheer. I remember us doing countless sit ups together to try and get "great abs". We exchanged dresses with each other for school dances. She always looked so beautiful. She loved everyone and was always so sweet. She will be missed by many.

Bunny was a beautiful person, inside and out. All of my memories of her (going back to grade school) are of a happy, vibrant and uplifting girl and woman. My heart goes out to her family.

Bunny was such an incredible example and leader. Cheer in highschool would not have been what it was without her. She always made you smile and laugh and was so talented. Her parents were always so supportive of her and our prayers are with you during this time. Bunny will never be forgotten, she left a mark on us all.

Hi,

Bunny and I first met in 7th grade at Butler Middle School. The first time I saw her she had her bright red marron Dr. Marten shoes!! From the very first moment that I saw her, I knew this girl was different, special and down right stunningly beautiful. Every boy in the school had a crush on her and I was no exception. We talked and hung out a lot during that 7th grade year. We had 7th grade art class with Mrs. Dame together. We got in trouble all the time for talking and giggling with each other.. I had a huge crush, but that was because she was just so easy to talk to. She made every one feel like you were her best friend. She wore these cute bright marron Dr. Marten shoes all the time, and she just always seemed to stand out above the crowd. We spent countless nights playing night games with all of our friends, watching movies in Bunny's parent's basement, hanging out in the Watson backyard and just enjoying each other's company.

I never, ever heard her saw an ill word about anyone or anything. She was always smiling, always positive every time we hung out. We went to countless dance groups together at Brighton High School. I was a Student Body Officer and she was in cheer, so we interacted almost every single day. She was a joy to be around. We had a special connection in a way, in that My older Brother Taylor Williams was in the car that night that took her older Brother Dave's precious life at the time. My brother was very, very lucky to walk away from that horrible tragedy, and I know that Bunny's first interaction after she left this mortal life was a huge hug from Dave on the other side. My brother has never been the same since that crash. My heart breaks that the Watson family has to go through this horrible ordeal once again. But, the comfort that the gospel brings makes at a tiny bit easier to believe we will all see Dave and Bunny again soon.

Bunny and I didn't see much of each other as I went on a mission after high school, and she started a family etc.. But we ran into each other occasionally hanging out with friends and around town. I am grateful that she was one of my friends. She touched many lives with her infectious smile and desire to be the best and to accomplish her goals. My thoughts and prayers are with her beautiful little girls and amazing husband. Thank you Bunny for living your life. Thank you. You will be greatly missed and God be with you until we meet again dear friend....

Much faith and Love,

Patrick L. Williams
