"Jekyll and Hyde Award"

Food, Food, Food

Our menu turned out to be one that made everyone happy. Cesar salad for the vegetarians, breaded chicken for the meat lovers, and a hearty helping of pasta with either alfredo or meat sauce. And of course no Italian meal is complete without breadsticks.

A variety of cake was our dessert, and the cash bar was hopping all night and served everything from beer to Coke.

Playdate Pics

Thanks to Mindy Sterzer for sending along some pictures from the playdate. Thanks to all who came, and hopefully your little ones made some new friends!

Let the Fun Begin

We had a lot of last-minute attendees on Saturday--so exciting! The full list of attendees has been updated here.

Bengals traveled from far and wide; some of the locations we noted include California, Colorado, Montana, Idaho, Connecticut, Kentucky, Nebraska, New York, Washington DC, Texas, and Missouri! Thanks for making the trip to renew friendships and have fun with us.

The only official "organized" evening events included the continually looping BHS slideshow (view it again here) and Shelby & Adrienne's awards presentation (stay tuned tomorrow for that post). The majority of the time was for socializing, eating, taking pictures, and catching up.

Saturday Morning Preparations

The reunion was held at Willow Creek Country Club, and the whole event looked fantastic. Tables were decked out in Bengal paraphernalia--yearbooks, pictures, sweaters, stuffed tigers. One table also contained five books for Bengals to write their memories of those who have passed away since our graduation.

Out on the patio stood twenty tables draped with white linen, topped by floating orange flowers and Bengal-colored taffy. A Who's Who questionnaire at each seat gave everyone the chance to guess which of their classmates aligned with current ventures (don't worry, an answer sheet was provided), the Sweethearts board displayed BHS marriages, and the baby photo board let Bengals show off their children.
